General Conference Festival links:
This year's event is a successor to many years of similar events, and those older attenders may remember the Diocesan Conference (at Effingham) in 1990, when the theme was, 'Ecology: Theology of Creation': we have the transcript of Metropolitan Anthony's concluding talk here. We also have a sermon given by Bishop Basil [Osborne] in 1992 on Mk 15,14-16,20 - 'Preaching the Gospel to all creation'. The Orthodox Fellowship of the Transfiguration hosts (on its website) a presentation given by Metropolitan Kallistos of Diokleia in 1996 on the theme, 'Through Creation to the Creator'; (see also the Fellowship's video, 'The Face of God'); and we should also mention here John Chryssavgis' essay, 'The Green Patriarch: Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew as a Pioneer of Ecological Change'
