Christ says that He gives us His peace, carefully underlining that His peace is not the same as the peace that the world gives. 

He then goes on to reassure us, and ask of us something important that ties into our ability to receive His peace: not to allow our hearts to be troubled or afraid.

We can explore this notion of peace on so many levels. How do the Scriptures open up the aspect of peace in our spiritual lives? Does the Church help us grow this peace in our personal lives and in the life of our communities? 

And we can also ask, how does the eucharistic gathering become the way we find and practise peace, and ultimately manifest Christ’s peace to the world around us?

Christ tells us to not be afraid or troubled in our hearts – an exhortation that is so difficult for us to obey. 

By focusing on the Peace given to us by Christ, the 2026 Conference & Festival will address some of the ways in which we can start to dispel the anxieties and fears that the Lord so much wants us to leave behind us.

All the accommodation is en-suite, at a cost per adult of £310, and £50 per child aged 6-16 years (infants are free). 

This year the bookings for the conference will all be going through the electronic form being put up on the new website. This is being finalised and will be functioning by 18th January. The website will NOT be a fully functioning site, but will be a small bijou set of pages just to get the conference bookings going. The rest of the site will grow as we do the work.

At that point this page will direct you to the new conference page and the booking form. Please bear with us while we update and improve our ways of working!

Just for your information - certain things will stay the same.

There will be a minimum deposit required of £50 to secure your registration.

If you need a bursary, the amount of any bursary required - to meet the total cost - should be specified on your application form, and then please inform your parish priest of your request.  
Bursaries are granted with the support of your parish priest, and the agreement of our Treasurer(s).
APPLICATIONS will NOT be guaranteed a place if you have not paid in full by the 7th of May. But the new system will email you several reminders that you need to complete payment.
