Service Times

After a very long time when it has not been possible to hold any services for our Community in Lamberhurst, the Guidelines issued by the Government allow us now to resume worshipping together. Following a period of reflection and thanks to a most generous offer of welcome by the Vicar of St Mary’s church we are glad to be able to announce that we shall celebrate the Liturgy again later this month on:

Saturday 17th October 2020 at 11.00 am

As is the case with every place of worship at present, we shall follow all the relevant Guidelines. We give thanks to God for His care and pray the He will continue to guide and protect us!

St Mary the Virgin, LamberhurstInformation: Our venue, the church of St Mary The Virgin is in Lamberhurst south of Tunbridge Wells on the A21. There is now a bypass and if you are going south you will reach the roundabout on the A21 where the bypass begins. Go right here into Lamberhurst and the church will be found up Church Road which is the first left as you come down into Lamberhurst. If coming into Lamberhurst from the south go into the village up the main street and turn right into Church Road at the top of the hill. If you reach the roundabout you have gone too far.

The Community is part of the worldwide Orthodox Church, and its services are celebrated mainly in English, with some prayers in church Slavonic and Greek as our members represent a diversity of cultures and language Members of all Christian communities are most welcome to attend our services, and to share in (bring and share) refreshments afterwards.
